How and why we process your personal data
Personal data processing is conducted primarily by means of information systems and electronic devices by Fifty srl and other parties who, selected with care for their reliability and competence, conduct operations that are essential in order to achieve the purposes strictly related to the use of the web site and its services and to the sale of products via the web site. (The specific purposes for which your personal data is processed are summarized each time you communicate your personal data, in the notice under ex-article 13 of the Legislative Decree 196/2003).
In general, data is processed in order to make the following services available to those who visit our site:
registration on the site, to enjoy the services we offer;
fulfilment of orders and related activities;
handling of your requests: technical and commercial information, progress reports on your orders and, generally speaking, all information requests;
contact with the managers of our services;
evaluation request for joining our team, by sending your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org .
In using data, that may directly or indirectly identify you personally, we will apply the principle of necessity. For this reason, we have designed the site in such a way that the use of your personal data will be kept to a minimum and will not exceed the purposes for which your personal data was collected and/or processed; we do not process your personal data when we can provide you with services through the use of anonymous data (such as marketing research to improve our services) or by other means which allow us to identify you, apart from when it is strictly necessary or upon request of the competent public authorities or the police (as, for example, in case of traffic data or your IP address).
In some cases, as stated in the notice, your data may be processed - prior to your consent – in order to create profiles based on your preferences and purchases; this is for the purpose of supplying you with product and service related information adapted to your individual needs and interests. Fifty srl will not send marketing information about its products and services without your permission, except in the case provided for by article 130, paragraph 4 of the Legislative Decree 196/2003 (which allows the data owner to send e-mails about products and services similar to those you have already purchased, unless you refuse such permission).
Your data will be disclosed to third parties only with your consent, unless such disclosure is required under applicable law or necessary for purposes provided by law which do not require consent. In these cases, your data can be made available to third parties who will handle it independently and solely for these purposes (for example, in the case of a request made by the police, the courts or other competent entities, or in order to perform obligations under the contract concluded with you, as is the case of the communication of data to Setefi for the payment of the goods purchased ).
Any further purpose will be fulfilled by Fifty srl only after obtaining your consent.
There are some situations where we are required by law to provide information, for which your consent is not necessary; for example, when you are required to fulfill legal requirements or where it is necessary for carrying out our contractual obligations towards you (as when you require to purchase products or services through our website ).
Your personal data will not be transferred abroad to non-EU countries, which do not ensure an adequate level of protection of individuals. Should the above be necessary in order to supply services or to execute a contract for the purchase of products, the transfer of your personal data to such non-EU countries shall be carried out only after the execution of specific contracts between Fifty srl and such entities, according to laws and applicable regulations.
Fifty srl may have access to third parties' personal data which was directly disclosed by its users to Fifty srl, for example when a user buys a product for a friend or when the buyer is different from the recipient of such product.
We inform you that the consent of such third party individuals is not required if personal data belonging to the above individuals has been disclosed to Fifty srl for the execution of a sale and purchase contract with Fifty srl on behalf of such third party.
You understand and agree that you will not post any Content which is illegal or offensive. Items which are offensive or illegal include, but are not limited to, the following: discriminatory (including racial, religious, disability or gender based discrimination); false, misleading, defamatory or libellous, threatening, abusive or obscene; pornographic or sexually explicit; promoting or describing illegal behaviour or acts. Should this occur, Fifty srl reserves the right to delete your personal account and all relevant data.
Who may process data
We may use carefully selected third parties to carry out certain activities. The companies that conduct these operations are chosen on the base of their experience, reliability and capability to ensure adequate compliance with current provisions on data processing, including the aspects of data security.
These companies are appointed “responsible for data processing” and conduct their activities according to the instructions of Fifty srl and under its control. We check periodically to make sure that they fulfil their tasks and continue to ensure compliance with the provisions on data protection.
Your information is also processed by our employees assigned to every service, whose categories depend on the purposes for which data was conferred and are always specified in the notice that we submit to you every time you provide us with your personal data.
